I added an extra hard drive in my server. In the process, I moved the cdrom from secondary master to secondary slave.
What's the correct procedure to fix the drive mapping?
Do I just make a new symlink from /dev/cdrom to /dev/hdd; or is there some magic with makedev. Do I just run makedev on it's own, or do I need to pass it some options?
Never been down this path before, and after googling for a while, I'm even more confused. Don't want to stuff it up poking around blindly, because it's currently connecting me to the internet. If I break it, I'm really blind.
