Roaming Profiles

Hi, I'm experimenting with using e-smith as a file server and I'd like to enable roaming profiles for the Win9x clients. I've been editing /etc/smb.conf based on settings I got from http://www.ping.be/linux-and-samba/config/pdc-1.shtml and the clients seem to be logging onto the domain fine, but the profiles never seem to get copied to the server. (Of course, I've enabled all the client side stuff!) If anyone has had any experience with getting this working I'd appreciate any tips, or even a copy of an smb.conf which is working.
I have to say that even if I can't get this going right now e-smith seems to be doing a great job - I know this is somewhat outside what it was designed for.
Thanks,
Bobby

You should edit the template for smb.conf, not the file itself. Have a look at http://www.e-smith.org/custom/. But this only affects the permanance of your changes - it doesn't explain your problem.

Please email me a copy of your smb.conf and I'll have a look.
