Hi
I know this has been talked several times: I DO search!
But now 6.5 is almost production, and I saw no mention on new kernel with SATA support.
Several people asked this because of new Motherboards and DELL machines.
Mr Van Hees & ccSkavenger (sorry... dont remember his real name) have nice work with kernel .27 and ccskavenger did it with a .28 kernel (who should have SATA support).
BUT ccskavenger.info is offline and vanhees.cc just have .27 version.
Anyone has plans to fix it on 6.01-01 (put a new kernel) or revive 6.01-02 ISO?
Maybe best option should to put a kernel >2.4.28 (even a 2.6.x) on 6.5 who is very close to production.
I´ll be trying SME 7B2 today... it´s SATA aware!
Thanks
Jáder
