Printing question

Hi All,
I have a question about printers connected to a 6.5rc1 server. When we were using NT, I was able to set up a separator page that printed the users name for each print job. Is it possible to set up anything like that on this system? If so then how? Thank you in advance for any assistance.  :-)

Yes I believe it can be. First of I believe you can do that client side?

Other than that there is a contrib and howto (Robert van den Aker)to set up a cups server on SME where you can put it in, this is rather extensive and may not be what you are looking for. It can even keep track of every single print been made by every single user. The howto: http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/rvandenaker/beta/e-smith-cups/documentation/

Maybe you can search the forum for an easier way the extensive one was just what I needed and it has the banner sheet option built in.

Hope this helps. Groeten,

Jan

This looks like what I was looking for. Yes it does look a little complicated, but doable. Already tried it client side but it wouldn't work. Thanks again!
