Topic: SMERP Fax, anyone using it?

Hi All,
I have installed SMERP Fax contrib and I am just having a problem sending faxes, I can receive them OK. If I send a document with Fax-Nr: followed by the fax number then I go to the server (or use putty) and type faxstat -s It tells me that the line is busy. I know it's not because I am sending the fax to a fax machine in the same room on a different line. Any body else using this contrib? If so are you having any simular problems or can you suggest any help for my problem! As always any help is greatly appreciated. I am running SME 6

I´m using SMERP... just a few days... till now do not try to send faxes, in fact, tryed once, it dialed ok but got comm errors... so do not try again.
Are you sure you choose the right Flow control?
I have problems even to receive w/wrong option.
Are you using "-" or "." on number ? Try w/o them! I got problems dialing a number like 477.1246 just dialout 477!!

For information, Smerp-Fax is only a configuration interface for Hylafax. Then, if you have a problem with it, you can find many information in the Hylafax FAQ & forum.

As jader said, can you at least receive Fax ?
