Topic: Migration help and thoughts

We have a server running 5.1.2 which mainly handles our emails through multipdrop from our ISP.  I want to get thsi to 6.0.1 or 6.5 mainly for use of antispam and antivirus in emails (any thoughts on which is better would be greatly appreciated).

Here's the real issue...I know upgrading the 5.1.2 box directly hasn't been "supported", but if I start from scratch on a new box, how do I get my users and mainly their emails over to the new box unless I directrly upgrade 5.1.2-6.x???

Hope that makes sense and someone can help out.

As a temporary solution, does anyone have a howto to add antispam (spamassasin 3x...latest version ) and well as the antivirus onto a 5.1.2 box?  

 And yes, I will for sure migrate to a 6x release, don't worry.  but a temporary solution would be a great help at this point.

... so please do not take it as an excuse to delay further when I tell you the stuff you want is "built in" in (still beta) 7.0

P.S.: Don't be confused that the above is already for a higher generation "too old to upgrade" ... should work identically! ...
