6.0.1 Local Netowrks help
« on: September 12, 2005, 04:46:30 PM »
I'm setting up a new 6.0.1 box and in the Local Network section I put the exact same info I had in my old 5.1.2 box, but it doesn't like it in 6.0.1
Any help?

Example:  5.1.2:  Network Address=x.x.x.x  Subnet ask = 255.255.255.255  Router=<blank>

This accepts that 1 single ip address as a local network.  When I do the same thing in 6.0.1 it says "Doesn't look like an IP".

I would think that your subnetmask should read 255.255.255.0

yes but wouldn't that open up the entire range?  I'm only looking for a single ip like I used in the old box.
