Hi All
I have just purchased an IBM Xseries 226 server and have attempted to load SME 6.01 on it. The Scsi/bios can see the Scsi drives and controller, however when it starts to load SME the first message is:
"No hard drives have been found. You probably need to manually choose device drivers for installation to succeed. Would you like to select drivers now?"
I then inserted a floppy disk in the FDD with what I thought were the appropriate drivers from the CD supplied by IBM. You guessed it, the floppy did not try to read for extra drivers and it continued to inform me that there were no drivers and would not continue.
I am not sure where I am going wrong maybe someone could enlighten me.
