ADSL USER PANEL!!!!?
« on: September 28, 2005, 04:41:30 PM »
I have set up sme as a server gateway, and would like to enable users to login to the webadmin and be able to change the user name and password for the adsl connection without giving any one admin privileges

Does any one know of a panel like this????????

This seems to be a very strange requirement. You want to have multiple users (maybe all users) be able to divert the Internet connection to a different provider? Or a different user account at the same provider? Or break the Internet connection by inserting invalid values? Why?

I'm pretty sure that there is no such thing.

IN South Africa ADSL is sold in packages of 3gb or more, once you have used your 3gb you have to switch over to a new account.

I want to allow my clients to access only the username and password section so they can change they details as they need to without having to give them admin access

Strange - couldn't they just bill you more?

It'd be better to change the pppoe run script so that it cycles through a list of username/password combinations. Then the switchover would be automatic. If you can't code that up yourself, you should be able to hire someone here to do it for you.
