Hi,
Just installed and send a few faxes. That's a cool and easy way to send. Just a couple of issues:
It has a limit in file size. That's to bad because it actually also sends attached PDF files.
Question is will it also send TIFF files. These can be big, but if on a LAN who cares...

Can this limit be changed?

This contrib is thinked only to send small text fax.
I use this to send fax when i am outside of my company.

If you want to send more pages use WHFC or relayfax.

Installed your relayfax1.tar but i hv encountered error while faxing out, by received the mail quoted "FAX ERROR: You do not have permission to fax."

I have modified the faxuserlist and configured for my relayfax client with the correct user auth, and also modified the .qmail as below...

| /usr/bin/procmail ~/.procmailrc
| condredirect relayfax-junkmail /bin/grep -q -i 'X-Spam-Status: Yes'
# Vacation Message not set
# Forward not set
./Maildir/

Hello yiibong.

Edit the file "faxuserlist" and insert your email with your password.
For "password" is meant the password of relayfax client, not the password of your email ! ! !

example : someone@somewhere.com password

i have the correct password setup for the faxuserlist, and this password is using for the relayfax client properties.

I am using sme7b5 now, how abt the access right permission for the owner and group.

My contribs work only with sme 6.0 or 6.01

Which contrib to run hylafax have you user in sme7b5 ?

I am actually followed steps and guide line by Swerts-Knudsen.dk and www.chaloner.ca and otjer as well.

I have managed to install the hylafax, i can receive the incoming as per described the pdf format, now the only situation is that i am not able to fax out.

I think somethg must be wrong to the owner and group of unix file permission setting....

Any comment is welcomed.

Hi All,
I came across this thread through the search facility, I have downloaded the contrib, created the ibay, copied the html files to the html folder and the cgi-bin files to the cgi-bin folder but when I try to send a fax  or check the hylafax server status I get this message:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin@mydomain.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
