please guide me.

I have studied and looking around the voip solution for smeserver solution such as the asterisk + amp management with smeserver solution in two stage of implementation...

first implemenation questions,
1. how do i get started by rollout setup?
2. what is my requirement in order to setup the soft PABX system?
3. how can i make outgoing call?
4. how can i receive incoming call?

second implementation question
1. How do i connect to the hard PABX system and using the existing PABX extension number?
2. how do i connect to the normal phone set?
3. what are the additional requirement adapter and hardware do i requirement?

i hv downloaded the asterisk + amp management contribs from the site, one of question is that can i install the contribs even if without the zaptel card?
