Topic: lm_sensors problem

I've try to follow instalation of sme6admin as I found it at http://firewall-services.com/sme6admin-howto-en.html but  I could'nt finlaise the procedure because lm_sensors detected No sensor. My mainboard has intel 845G chipset with ICH4 southbridge (Compaq EVO). SME instalation is server only 6.0.1 . I've tried upgrading kernel to 2.4.26 (http://www.wellsi.com/sme/kernel/kernel.html)but same results. Any sugestion?

the admin package is obviously not going to do much

Seriously: The 845 chipset isn't exactly new ...
even "SME 6.01" is newer afaik.
AFAIR the chipset doesn't contain any sensors in itself so you should look for other devices (sensors!) on your mainboard.
If you want help here, at least post the output of your "sensors-detect"-run
or you may want go straight to the lm_sensors support
