Tried to follow the instructions by D. Dougan for release 4.1.x, but it doesn't seem to be quite right for 6.0.1. I'm an RTFM person; I have broken way too many things in my 20 year career!
I followed the instructions exactly to create the config files with the templates. The /etc/cron.d/backup file isn't created when I click the Update button in server-manager.
I have a USB disk I'm attempting to mount prior to the job (followed the instructions here as well). It doesn't work and silently fails.
Has anyone been able to figure this one out, or am I just missing something in the doc? (3x, no joy).
I would appreciate any success stories here. The docs are somewhat dated, and I'm not very familiar with SME.
