) , there has been discussion on the Jive boards on other forms of authentication, including authentication off a POP server. In fact, some Jivers have managed to authenticate off gmail!
I authenticate moodle off my school's POP server, and also use it as the authentication base for pagina.
I know SME is an IMAP server, but it can act like a POP server for the two above functions. I just can't get it to work with Jive Messenger. That would really be a great contrib: an rpm that installs Jive Messenger and automatically sets up authentication off the IMAP server. Anyone?
