Hi,

I’m going to setup a new server and bring it on the internet.

Witch version should I install?

Looking at http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/How%20to%20update%20SME%20Server shows updates for 6.0 and 6.0.1

At this point I don’t need any contribs, I need a secure server with the ability to get updated to the final 7.0

6.0.1 With all updates installed would be my first choice.

The developers are working hard to make sure that an upgrade from 6.x to 7 will work properly.  It looks close but there are a few issues that still need to be resolved.

6.5rc1 may also work but remember that it is still a release candidate and may contain minor bugs and security issues.
