Topic: error accessing /var/log/proftpd

Hi,

Installed a fresh 6.0.1 and updated the server via Yum

Now admin receives these errors in mailbox:

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:

error: error accessing /var/log/proftpd: No such file or directory
error: proftpd:11 glob failed for /var/log/proftpd/*.log

Any suggestions?

Check if the folder/files exist
/var/log/proftpd
/var/log/proftpd/*.log

Check permissions are appropriate
I get

cd /var/log/
ls -al

drwxr-s---    2 root     root         4096 Mar 12  2005 proftpd


cd /var/log/proftpd
ls -al

drwxr-s---    2 root     root         4096 Mar 12  2005 .
drwxr-xr-x   29 root     root         4096 Oct 29 01:12 ..
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Mar 12  2005 current
-rw-------    1 root     root            0 Mar 12  2005 lock
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Mar 12  2005 state

Nope, I don’t have it!

What I do now?

[root@server root]# rpm -q proftpd
proftpd-1.2.9-es3

FTP works fine.

Was there a bug number on this?  If so, what is it?  I am not having any luck finding it.
