Hi, I would like to use the SME server as a front end mailserver. Has anyone done this or does anyone know how to go about it.
Any information is appreciated

Sorry just realised I didn't explain myself enough,
I want to run 2 SME servers. One as a front end and one as a back end email server.
Users would check email on the front email server via Outlook or Webmail, the real email would be held on the back end email server.
I would like to do this so that users don't ever get any real access to the mailserver which holds the email. The only access is through the front end mailserver.

Specify the "back end mailserver" to be the Delegate mail server in the Email panel in server manager.

Thanks for the reply but it won't achive what I really want. If all email is forwarded to the backend server - that is ok, but I would like users to have to login to the front end mail server to check their email. when they do this it will only check the email on the front end mail server and there won't be any.
Somehow I am hoping that I can get the front end mail to check if there is any email for the user on the back end mail server.

I'm wondering what advantage/improvement it is that you are trying/hoping/expecting to achieve by doing this ?
