Topic: Internet Connection Monitor/Panel?

Does anyone know of a contrib I can add to my 6.1 server to allow me to see if my internet connection is up or down?  I have searched the contribs and forums but have not come across anying like this.

Go to 'nigelt.dyndns.org'. You can downlaod and untar a new version of console and the console-menu-items which reinstates the inter check and review configuration feature sin console. These files reside in '/etc/sbin'. Back them up first!!!!!
