Topic: Set up RAID on a live system

I would like to set up RAID on a live system.
I added the same type and size disk to the server and
would like to setup RAID1 with it.

Is this possible?
If so, how do I go about this?
Does anyone have a step by step precedure?

I looked at DMay's RAID Recovery but seeing that this is
not a recovery, that won't work.

If this is for a 6.x version of SME/e-smith...
I'd recommend you backup your ibays and go for a fresh OS install with both disks present and selecting RAID1 when asked.
- There are quite a number of lethal mistakes on the way to making it work "live".
Note: I believe somewhere around here is a description I made once but what you intend is clearly not for the faint of the heart.
New (Raid1) install and restore of ibays on the other hand is failsafe and done in minutes on todays hardware .-)

Yep, this is for 6.1 version.
I wanted to do this remotely.
Just wanted to try and see if I can.
