Virtual Domain not visible from local network

I have just set up a virtual domain on my E-smith 4.1.2 box.  I can get to the virtual domain from the outside world by going to www.domainname.net, but when I try this on the internal network I get a page not found error.

Th E-smith box is setup as server only, with an ISDN link to the net.  The server is setup as 192.168.0.50 with the ISDN router as 192.168.0.1.

I have setup the DNS records using myDomian.com to forward all requests for www.domainname.net to the static IP address of the server followed by the name of the ibay holding the site.  -> Could this be the problem.  Can the server not see itself looking out onto the Internet to do the DNS lookup and then retreiving the data from itself.

If I browse on the internal network to 192.168.0.50/domainname I can see the site fine, but it doesn't look to good for the boss who wants to know why he can't surf to the site via the very expensive domain name he just bought.

Bill.
