Topic: Remove user, remove data files?

Hi all - I have 15 users spread across three SME 6.1-01 installations.  We've recently had a high turnover rate, so I have a number of users to remove.  My user quotas show the entirety of files saved to ibays and mail folders under Current Usage; however, Disk Usage users only shows maildir - probably how it's supposed to be.  My question is: if I remove these users, are all of their data files in ibays going to be deleted as well, or just those files in /home/e-smith/files/users/?  

Also, is there any way to change the attributes on files so that ownership is not attributed to particular users?

Hi,

i you delete a user via server-manager, all files in directory /home.../user/%username% and this directory will be deleted.

Also all Mail and mail directories concerning that user will be deleted.

The files created by this user in regular ibays will not be deleted, because these files get group rights as you directed it in server-manager. So just start deleting your ex-employees   ...
