Topic: message log entry

I have found my logs!!! i know, i know, they've always been there, but i just now figured out exactly how to go about reading them and somewhat what them mean.

except......    (*eerie music*)

the message log has some entries that I'm not sure what they mean (what could they mean papa smurf?).
to wit:

e-smith kernel: NET: 130 messages suppressed.
e-smith kernel: neighbor table overflow.

the "130" above changes to other numbers, but other than that, this is in the message log over and over again.  I also see this message on the console often.  I would love to know what is causing it and maybe how to fix it if it is something that is broke.  The neighbor table overflow thing sounds ominous, I sure hope micro$oft boy (my boss) doesn't see them, at least until I know what to tell him about them!

On a lighter note, micro$oft boy is actually putting an e-smith server in at his casa!!!  He is getting a cable modem and is worried (rightfully so) about all those horrible hacker people just waiting to have their way with his poor little virgin winnt server so he has put togeather a 486 (w/pci) out of spare parts and is setting an e-smith up as a firewall!  hehehehe.... I feel like i'm corrupting him or something (cryblood imagines himself in a black cape saying " Come over to the dark side microsoft boy. ")  ~:>)  

BTW... he read one of the messages where I called him microsoft boy and just laughed and laughed,  Hmmm.... note to self: boss has sence of humor, see what can be done about that.

That's a full kernel table, in a section of code concerning routing.

I don't know why it's full, or what the consequences are.

Send me some email describing your network setup and I'll see if I can work that out.
