Difference between sme 6.01 and sme 7.08 beta
« on: December 16, 2005, 06:21:41 AM »
Hi everyone,

I have installedsme server 6.01 onto my box.  It is fine but there are some things I am having problems with.  For instance connecting to sme using mac os X.4 (tiger) and certain crm applications. I am wondering if SME server 7.08beta is a better choice.

What is the difference between sme 6.01 and 7.08beta

Thanks
Amy

The biggest difference is that 6.01 uses RedHat 7.3 as the core and 7.0beta uses CentOS 4 (RHEL4). More detail you can find via the Documentation and Development links, and by searching here.

Your OSX question I have answered already in another thread.
