I just set up a yi.org account & host for a 6.0.1 server -- how often does the SME server update the yi.org host IP?  

I just rebooted the server after configuring I haven't seen the IP update yet after about 10 min..

Check /var/log/messages for errors. yi.org should be contacted as soon as your external interface is up.

I have this in my log files {sensitive parts removed}   - does this look like it worked?  The IP still doesn't show up on the yi.org website -- does it maybe take their servers a while to catch up?

You spelling and/or reading is poor.

I have this in my log files {sensitive parts removed}   - does this look like it worked?

What you see there is only your local configuration being updated. You should be looking for ip-up or ip-change - those are the events when yi should be updated.

I am very sorry Charlie.  I stand corrected.  I don't see anything in these ip-change & ip-up search results that appear to post the ip with yi.org - do you see anything?

No reported problems there.

Have you asked yi.org? It's not impossible that they've changed their protocol since the client was written. I personally haven't tested it for years.
