Topic: Amavis-ng not detecting Virus

Just installed the exelent How to at http://www.pagefault.org/howto/amavis_clam.shtml on my SME 5.6

All steps when just smooth. Only this when finishing the test

# /usr/bin/qmail-queue.amavis
Use of uninitialized value in split at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/AMAVIS/Notify/Admin.pm line 23.


The service is running and actually scaning Virus (I see the X-Virus stamp at emails header) BUT im still receiving infected emails @ Pc´s detected by the client AV.

Any clue?

if you are using these instructions, this is a very OLD version of clam and should not be used.  That is why the viruses continue to get through.

Can someone recommend any updated version or AV for SME 5.6?

Tryed, but thats for SME 6.0, im running 5.6.

Thought to wait for 7.0 GA and upgrade....
