i want to change to SME server .... it is stable
how to migration ?

That's useful! The original poster obviously does not have English as a first language, so searching is that much more difficult.

To answer the question: there are instructions on how to set up applications to emulate Exchange ("Open-Xchange" is a good keyword to search on). It does involve a fair amount of work though, so be prepared to get involved in the technical stuff.

And when a search comes up with nothing but threads that say "use the search" - what then? Sorry, it may just be me, but I tend to walk away from sites like that.

Like I said, just one or two words "Open-Xchange" would have been enough to prevent a thread being yet another dead end.

The Subject of your post is whether the SME Server supports Samba - yes.

However, the body of the message is migration from Exchange 2000. If what you require is a robust, secure, reliable mail server - we do that out of the box. For most people a reliable IMAP/POP/SMTP server with virus and spam scanning is all they really want and that's what we've built.

However, if you want all of the features of Exchange 2000, you might want to look at Open-XChange or one of the Exchange-workalikes. There are various HOWTOs in these forums for installing these.
