Topic: DOMAIN NAME WITH DINAMIC IP

Hai All,
I'm new in Linux, but after I found E-SMITH, I can say this is the easiest Linux in the world ( in fact I can install it faster than install M$ ), but I have problem in running my own domain with my dinamic IP ( I use dial up and my ISP use dinamic IP for dial up ) what "freeware" do I need, can any one help me with this, or may be it will include in version 4.0 ???

Obtain for yourself a copy of the E-smith User Guide, either by buying an official copy, or by downloading the PDF file from http://www.e-smith.net/ or a mirror. There's quite a bit there about using dynamic DNS services.  If you need help to understand the DNS, your ISP may help. Failing that, talk to your local Linux users group.

e-smith 3.0, at least out of the box, doesn't support dynamic DNS service in a dial-up configuration, for reasons that are explained in the manual.  It does include an update script for yi.org, but I'm not sure how best to call that.  FWIW, I downloaded and compiled the client from dyndns.org, but that involves installing a number of other packages from a RedHat 6.0 CD.
