hopefully someone may be able to answer one or more of these questions for me?

when i use SME Server v5's backup, can i exclude certain i-bays? if so, how?

can i restrict an i-bay or home directory to a certain about of space? if so, how?

if you want to restrict backup to certain directories or such things, you have to modify the backup scripts and/or use another backup programm.

You can restrict disk-usage in e-smith V 5.1 , which is still beta now, but working fine with me. This is called quotas and can be accessed from the manager-panel.
