Hi,
I have worked with 6.01 and the ClamAV .88 install for some time now and recently installed on a new server 7.0 Pre1.  The built in ClamAV is nice, but seems to lack some of the configuration that the older version had.  Specifically the notification of viruses to the admin or users.  It says that it will email the admin if a virus is found, but in my lack of knowledge i cant seem to find where i can specify what email address that is or how to change it.  Can someone please help me out.  Is there a way to open up or add more configuration options for the ClamAV?

Virus emails essentially always use forged addresses, so there is no point in sending email to the claimed sender or recipient of the email.

It says that it will email the admin if a virus is found, but in my lack of knowledge i cant seem to find where i can specify what email address that is or how to change it.

It will go to "admin", which means that it will either go into the "admin" user's mailbox, or it will be forwarded to the address that you have configured for the forwarding of all admin email. Check the server manager.

Maybe i was unclear, so i will add a little more detail.
Here are some of the options that the older version had:

*Generate daily report to Admin
*Scheduled filesystem scanning
*Virus Definition Scheduled Updates
*E-mail address to send virus scan results    
*Administrator e-mail address

This is just a few of the options that were on the old antivirus setup page.

The new one has two options and thats it.
scan daily and quarentine.

I was just wondering why all the options were removed and if there was a way to get back all the ability to easily change the setup of the antivirus.

They weren't removed. The anti-virus capabilities in SME 7.0 were completely independently developed - it wasn't based on anything that went before. Anything which is not there has never been put there.

If you wish to see some feature added (anywhere in SME), then open a New Feature Request bug in the bug tracker (in SME Server Future).
