I have set my modem (visionnet 200es) to enable ppp halfbridge. My server
picks up the static ip of the modem fine. My website works great. The problem I am having is that my ppp connection keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. When I eliminate the server any pc connected to the modem works OK. I assume I am causing the problem my sme server. I have the server set to the default ethernet connection not the ppp. When I tried changing that I lost connections. Should I reconfigure my dsl modem? Is ppphalf bridge not a good idea?
