Has anyone tried to add Port Opening to SME 6.5RC?

I have been looking all over the ne for this answer. To no avail.

Can you use previous add-ins?

Presumably you would have found my warnings about "port opening". It's usually not what you want and won't achieve anything.

In this case I do want to open 2 specific ports to allow a software package to access a database on our webserver.

Can it be done?
