Topic: Powercut

Hi folks

There was a powercut lastnight in the location when my SME 6.5 server is - I have managed to et someone to switch it back on for me this morning - but i am unable to ping it this morning - i can't get to the server till late this afternoon - is there anything that i should be looking for that may have now fallen over because the power outage -

Maybe your server has power, but your connection doesn't.

The other oprion is it's waiting for some input about checking the disk because it wasn't shut down cleanly.

Hard to know until you get physical with it. Right now it would be just quess work.

When the power goes out, and the server once back on. Rest your External Modem  (off-on) if you have one and reset (off-on) your router in this order.
This alway works for me.
