how do i create mail aliases in open xchange ??

I have added some mail aliases using the xchange panel in the server-manager, which failed with an internal server error but then when checked it had created them. But when i log into exchange none of the aliases are there for me to use

does anyone know how to create a usable mail alias for open xchange ??
