Topic: email 5.5 to 6.0

Hi all,

I've just inhereted an old 5.5 system where the hard disk has crashed. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I can upgrade the mail from a 5.5 system to 6.0. I can get to the data but when I look at the emails I just see &NBSP or something like it. I seem to remember that the email program was updated after 5.5 to something else. Is there a program that I can use to transform the emails to the newer version.

The easiest approach is to reinstall 5.5, restore from your backups, and then upgrade to 5.6 & then upgrade to 6.x.

Any necessary data migration will be taken care of automatically by the OS upgrade.
