I'm brand new at this, so if these have been asked before - please forgive me.
I have recently installed SME 7 (when I log in, it says: CentOS release 4.2 (Final) - SME Server 7.0pre1). I used to have SME 6.5 and an older version of Gallery (1.5 I think it was) but my server needed to be rebuilt and that's when I upgraded to SME 7 and Gallery 2. My questions are these:
1. In the old Gallery, I was able to do the "Send postcard" thing; is there a way to do that with Gallery2?
2. In Gallery2, people can register and Gallery sends them an email, however the email comes up with nothing in the FROM field. This is quite frustrating with a lot of emails get returned as errors:
(Reason: <anonymous@baines.homedns.org>: Sender address rejected: Mail from anonymous is always spam.)
I have set up the Email settings in the Site Admin page, however I can pretty much guess I'm missing something.
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
