User Add Problem
« on: February 18, 2006, 09:07:01 PM »
I am using SME Server ver7 pre ( yum upgraded from beta8) I added a user using the browser interface.
the user was added. but there was an error that the user was alreaddy there.
Could not get the user connected to qmail using outlook - bad password problem
tried modifying the password for the user - seemed to work OK but outlook would still not connect.
Removed the user to try again,
It fails on this action, saying that the the name is on the deleted user list and will not add it.
How can get the name off the deleted user list so I can use the name again. I would like to stick to our usernaming converntion for this user.
Thanks

I don't mind putting the bug ticket in as I did but I am still wondering how I can get the name off the deleted user list.
If any daring soul would verture an immediate solution it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks Michael,
It did get the user out for the deleted user list (tested by doing
db users print at the command line.

Still having a problem installing the user so I must look around for some other problem.

Move this to the bug tracker (as Charlie said already) and attach a part of your messages logfile what happens when you add that user.
