Topic: Grub error2

Got a compaq proliant 3000 and I replaced a disk drive, the raid 5 array has reconstructed the data but when rebooting I'm getting a Stage 1.5  grub error 2, any ideas how to boot off a floppy? I hope I have not lost the data

Just booted off the sme7 cd and I have no option to install over the top to repair grub any ideas?

A friend is going to create me a grub boot disk to try from, will keep you posted.

can't understand this, I have replaced disks fine when the OS has been running and the raid has reconstrusted the data fine, this is the first time I replaced a drive and then booted the system.  Have to make a mental note only to ever do this when the system is booted up first
