I have been away for a while doing other things but I came back yesterady to DL 7.0RC1 and frankly I was blown away !!!
It installed on my Server [AMD Sempron, Adaptec 29160N, HPC1537 Tape] so quickly and was up and running so fast I could not believe it.
I was just about to come here to ask about the add ons I used to install from Jaspers site and they are already included in 7.0RC1. Not only but also, I just read the news and see that SME is now pulling stock from the CentOS guys and we are getting updates straight from user manager.
The progress since I was installing 6.0.1 is nothing short of amazing.
I would like to take my hat of to Jeff, Charlie (Hope he's still about

) and all the other contributers / developers - this is a truly great project.

Just one small Q - I noticed that on the mirrors iso listing end with just smserver.iso - does that mean that it is a final release ? Sorry for my ignorance, RC1 means release candidate 1 right ? Will this become 7.0 Stable ? From what I have read people are using on production servers. Is that advised ?
Thanks again everyone - coming here has made my day !!!
