One last topic I was wondering will users home directorys only be accessible via ftp login, or how does a person see this space for downloading ? any http access like the one at the SME downloads etc ?

Please advise

Well, it's working for uploads downloads etc. perfectly.

I'm having trouble with setting permissions for files in my i-bays, cgi-bin,html folder etc.

Does SME allow to set permisions via ftp or sftp client etc. ??
Or
Do I have to use ssh or login to console ? only

I always seem to get a (permission denied) when trying to change file permissions for any file in any locations on any ibays.

Of course I can change this via console, but I want to be able to manage my websites and folders either local or remote.

Please advise ?

Thanks
