Topic: Permissions for cgi-bin and ibays

Hi all

I'm having trouble navagating to my ibays from the console or ssh remote login

I can access them easy via ftp etc.

Where are the ibays files located ? I've uploaded my auction website files via ftp and want to change the permissions for my primary ibay cgi-bin,and html files

ibays are at     "/home/e-smith/files/ibays"

inside each ibay you will find a cgi-bin, html, and files folder.

Depending which ftp program you use, you may experience problems changing permissions. I like to use either winscp or mc for setting file permissions. Make sure you have properly set permissions for the ibay through server manager also.

I cannot seem to set permissions via ftp program and via linux

But anyhow I did with ssh login thanks

any advise using gFTP on linux
