Topic: Cannot download MP3 Jukebox Software - Help

Also, trying to download the software on how to setup a mp3 jukebox as described here:-

But everytime I enter the commands, I get a message the server returned an unexpected error. Is there a way to download the files via my WIn XP PC, move them onto a folder in the e-smith server,and then run an install app??

Can anyone help.

Hi Scott,

I'm a am new to this and I found that creating an ibay, downloading the file in windows and saving it accross the network to the shared ibay directory works for me. I then navigate to the ibay in the e-smith command prompt and "rpm -iv xxxrpm" to intall the package.

I allow remote private access via ssh telnet using the e-smith web-console to use a telnet program called 'putty' to do all command line stuff on e-smith. I find this better as you can copy and paste commands from web sites on the windows macine's web-browser into the e-smith console.

For what it's worth, if you're using Version 5 it's as simple as running the Blades configuration utility from the web control panel ... I assume you're using 4.x?
