Macintosh Authentication

Hi guys.

I've inherited some MAC OSX 10.4 workstations.  Is there any way that I can authenticate them against SME Server, for example, using Winbind?

Failing that, is there any other way that you can think I can utilise these clients so that users can have access to their own home folder without having to go through the Go ... Connect to Server thing everytime they log in.

Anybody have an idea?

Steve

You can log into os X as user, then after connecting to home directory. drag home directory to startup items in user manager. computer will prompt for login after reststart or log off and user will have home directory.
