Can SME do this ?
« on: May 08, 2006, 11:43:54 PM »
Hi ! I am trying to implement the following structure:

1 Proxy/Firewall Server (SME 7.0) with TWO internet connections, of which one is for traffic for a specific site (a web app), and the other one for the rest of the internet traffic.
2 VPN between the local network connected to the SME 7.0 and a remote network connected to a Smoothwall 2.0 Server.

I installed OpenVPN on the SME 7 server, but so far no result.

Plus, when I try to modify accounts on the server-manager, when trying to reset a password I get an error page specifying only: FM_PASSWORD2 as the error.  :hammer:

Any ideas ?? Thank you so much for any replies.

You don't really need TWO Internet connection for this. Static routes for your specific site would do it. You also can use QOS for bandwidth reservation for your web apps.
