Topic: Port Forwarding to a different computer

I was wondering if it was possible to forward a couple of ports to a different computer on my network for a counter strike server. Would it lag more? should i do it with my curent sme server or through my roughter.

If indeed you are using a router seperate from the sme then you should always use the router. If your sme is behind a router then you should be running in server only mode and it should have nothing to do with routing or port forwarding.If you are using it as a proxy then the router still controlls the ports and routes.
