Can any body throw any light on my little problem.
I recently installed a server with 7.0 release 2.
I could not get the external interface to get a DHCP from the router. I tried changing the cards round so that the internal was facing out and vic versa but the other card would not get a DHCP.
I ended up hardcoding the address and gatway into the external card. This worked and the machine is up and running.
Will the settings stay in the cards on a reboot or do I have to suppy a script to renew the address every time.
I have not had this trouble with a machine before.
