SSL Certificate missing

After upgrading to 5.0,  I changed the domain name of my server,   and now receive an error when trying to start apache.

It's complaining that it can't find the SSL certificate file
'/home/e-smith/ssl.crt/secure.my-servername.com.crt'

I checked it out,  and the file is not there.  Other crt files are there with the previous domain names that I've used.  So I'm guessing the scripts missed the certificate regeneration step when the domain name was changed.

Can anyone give me a pointer on how to regenerate these files?  The docs on the web that I've found say I need to use openssl,  but they don't seem to be close enough to my setup for me to follow.
