Quick Question:

I have a user using an application that connextes to a server over TCP Port 7000, I would like to block the port from ever getting to the internet.  I have tried port forwarding to a non-existent ip with no luck.  When running ethreal I see the machine send an ack from a random port to X.X.X.X : 7000 and a reply comming back from that ip on 7000.  Any help would be appreciated

This topic has been discussed many times both here and on the devinfo mailing list.  I'd spend a bit of time with the search function and see what you can come up with.  Most recenty, Charlie Brady commented on this topic on the devinfo mailing list here:
