Is it possible to use a symbolic link in the cgi-bin directory, to also point to a file in the same directory? Is this allowed? I'm asking because I installed a small perl based bookmark manager, but it complains when it comes face to face with the symbolic link.
Also, does anyone know of a "simple" (if such a thing exists!) cgi application (script) that serves as a yahoo kind of portal that doesnt rely on an SQL backend? I've tried a bunch of them, but I've had no success yet.
