Do a search for Lazy Admin Tools (LAZ) these scripts will make the job of adding users and groups a little easier... if you have lots to add.  If not you may find that Server Manager is the easiest route.

A rather kind SMEuser paid another more experianced user to update LAZ specifically for SME7  thanks to both of them.

Are you referring to the RPM's that I made and put here - http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs//jbennett/sme7/lat/ or someone else's?  If mine, I sure wasn't paid for doing that.
