Is this MLdonkey ? Does it give a user string of eDonkey XXXX ?

MLdonkey 2.7.6 is out. Don't you just over write the mlnet binary on a SME7 machine?  Prior to that you had to compile it.

It is indeed MLdonkey (MLNet).
I'm not sure if I can simply replace the mlnet binary (fear of missing libraries of having the wrong library glibc), but I wanna give it a try.
Could you point me the site where I could download the binary?

You need the linux static files if your using SME7 (Centos 4.X)

For SME 6 you need the source files and then you need to compile it.

I just downloaded the static file, extracted mlnet and it worked. Just had to change 'allowed_ips' in downloads.ini so I could connect to the web interface from another computer.

Great news

I hope this version is stable. I have been having some problems with the stability of my SMEserver 7 rc2. I really don't know if it is linked to mlnet.
But apart from mlnet, I didn't install much on top.

And as I don't see problems on the forums with SMEserver RC2, it must be something I added.
I tried to find out what is causing it but I really can't find a thing in the logs.
The box sometimes reboots or hangs after several days.
